After productions upload purchasing data to Hollywood Parts, our Asset Coordinator assigned to the show then prints out the list of assets with a unique barcode label or labels attached. The Asset Coordinator then meets with production department representatives, identifies the asset from the list in order of value and attaches the barcode to the asset and photographs the asset. He may also simply deliver the list and barcodes to the department for production personnel to attach to the assets for later photographing. At wrap, further bar-coding and photographing of assets will occur. Expensive personnel can be dismissed early to go on to the next production.  Assets will be scanned into the box they are packed into and the box will scanned. Now a complete record of the movement of the asset is recorded as the asset is delivered and stored at Hollywood Parts where the boxes are scanned off the truck and into the storage area.
